SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE
(Name reserved by client request)
This house is located on a luxury condominium on Curridabat, Cental Valley. Conceptually it is a functional hose divided onto three fundamental areas: Service, social and private areas.
It was built with masonry, heavy materials (brick and concrete), and light was a fundamental issue on design process.
The roof allows light to come in, (what permitted to incorporate mezzanines to the bedrooms); and semi-exterior areas were included (access and terrace) using wood pergolas that produced a softened light.
This generated a big interior space, clear and wide, where material warmth was given by a special design for wood elements as doors and furniture.
Area: 400 m2
Cost x m2: U$ 700
Year: 2003
Construction: AISA
