MELENDEZ MORAN HOUSE

This Project is an enlargement of an existing house located on the hills of San Isidro, Heredia.

For the new volume, as an answer to the existing topography, the idea of half levels was used, what resulted in communicated spaces, dynamic, open, illuminated, and related to exterior.

A light steel construction incorporated into the design with wood and concrete walls. Fragmentation of the roof on three planes, gives the volume a lighter aspect and a spatial extension for each part of it.
